Only one hour’s drive south of Kiruna
you will find Lappeasuando Lodge by the head of the legendary river Kalix.
Coming from the mountain streams of the Swedish Fjälls, Kalix appears in the
original and intact character. Enormous dimensions of water build the land
below the junction and form a dream of a frenetic stream amongst the aged
forest. In the rapids you will find strong trouts, a good stock of graylings
and after midsummer it is possible to catch salmon. Numerous lakes in the
close surroundings where you catch heavy luces. Do to the nearby rivers Torne
and Lainio this fishing area is absolutely varied. Would you like anything

True Blue
Lappis Lodge. The comfortable Lodge with the nice view is situated directly
on the river Kalix. By boat or in walking along the bank you start fishing
for salmon and trout. We own two lakes where its allowed to fish for trout
and char. Eight kindly double rooms where built in 2009 and equipped with
bathroom (shower/toilet). After a relaxing visit to the comfortable sauna
house we end a nice the evening. Our restaurant in the Lodge is well-known
for its local kitchen – elk and reindeer take care for variety in meals.
Lappeasuando
Fishing Camp Adventure perfect on the Kalixälv: You will find this luxury
rustic Camp 3km upstream the river Kalix amongst the intact nature of Lapland.
We get there by boat only. Four kilometer along the Kalix our guests get the
special right to indulge their hobby. The confluence of Kaitum – famous for
graylings - is situated some hundred meters in distance. The log huts for
2-5 persons are built in typical kota-style, arranged with wood stove and
possibility for cooking. You find a real wooden heated sauna and a cosy recreation
room at the camp. The wilderness restaurant is available for bigger groups.
Admire the beautiful reflex of the midnight sun from the wooden terrace. Isn’t
it nice to exchange adventures of the day on an open fire in the kota? The
camp will be perfect for self-supporter but we offer full board and you finish
it yourself.
