Crosscountry skiing week in Taivalkoski

One week crosscountry skiing in Finland. On trails, which are always in perfect condition and leads through beautiful light forests and across wide swamps! Taivalkoski is a paradise for cross-country-skiers. More than 5 km trails with lights let you ski also in the dark hours ... already in the beginning of November lies enough snow for training.
In addition we visit a reindeer farm and a husky farm and drive through the beautiful landscape!

Getting there
The closest airport is Kuusamo (60 km).
But the flight terms (connections and prices)
are easier on the airport Oulu
(150 km - SAS, Blue1 and Finnair destination)

Situated straight beside a small skiing enter, skijumping towers and the trailhead for cross-country-skiing, nordic walking, running, winter wandering and lots more ... The village with shopping possibilities is reachable within walking time.  

Program

1^st day: Transfer from the airport Kuusamo to the Hotel Herkko in Taivalkoski. Sauna. Dinner.

2^nd day: Breakfast. Meeting with the crosscountry skiing teacher and info about the coming week. Guided crosscountry training (approx. 2 h). Afternoon free training or voluntary activities. Sauna. Dinner.

3^rd day: Breakfast. Guided crosscountry training (approx. 2 h). Afternoon free training or voluntary activities. Sauna. Dinner.

4^th day: Breakfast. Guided cross-country training (approx. 2 h). Afternoon free training or voluntary activities. Sauna. Dinner.

5^th day: Breakfast. Guided cross-country training (approx. 2 h). Afternoon free training or voluntary activities. Sauna. Dinner.

6^th day: Breakfast. Guided cross-country-training (approx. 2 h). Afternoon free training or voluntary activities. Sauna. Dinner.

7^th day: After breakfast transfer to the airport.
